1. Introduction

Drink Tracker ("the App") is developed and operated by Kadoco ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data We Collect

Account information (optional)

• If you sign in with Google: your name, email address, and profile picture.
• If you use the App anonymously: a randomly generated device identifier.

Profile settings

• Body weight, gender, and age — used to calculate blood alcohol content (BAC).
• Personal threshold preferences.

Drink & session data

• Drinks you log (name, volume, alcohol percentage, timestamp).
• Session start/end times, self-reported wellbeing ratings, and optional comments.

AI Coach conversations

• Messages you send to the AI Coach and the responses you receive.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Calculate and display your estimated BAC in real time.
• Show your drinking history and statistics.
• Power the AI Coach feature (see Section 5).
• Authenticate your account.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on a server located in the EU (AWS, Stockholm region). Authentication tokens are stored on your device using encrypted storage on mobile platforms. All communication between the App and our server uses HTTPS encryption.

5. Third-Party Services

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, your authentication is handled by Google's OAuth 2.0 service. Google's privacy policy applies to the data they process: policies.google.com/privacy.

OpenAI (AI Coach)

The AI Coach feature sends your messages and anonymised context (such as recent session statistics, weight, gender, and age — but not your name or email) to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI's API data usage policy applies: openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies.

6. Data We Do Not Collect

• Location data
• Contact lists
• Financial or payment information
• Photos, camera, or microphone data

The App does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting services.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Your drink logs, sessions, and settings are kept as long as your account exists. You can delete your AI Coach conversation history at any time from within the App. To request full deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.

8. Children's Privacy

Drink Tracker is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the bottom of this page will be updated accordingly.
